At 21xdesign, coding is at the heart of our creative process.
Whether it’s for generative video projections, installations, websites, or even posters, code is the foundation that allows us to explore new creative possibilities. Our approach to creative coding is driven by curiosity and a desire to be surprised by the outcomes.

As designers, we are not tied to any single coding language. Instead, we embrace the tools that best serve our creative vision, always ready to pivot if it means achieving the desired result. The process involves a balance of precision and discovery—where trial, error, and learning, play as much a role as the final product.

From Actionscript to Max/MSP to Augmented Reality (AR), our projects span multiple coding languages and technologies, each offering unique opportunities for innovation. Ultimately, the code fades into the background, leaving behind a crafted experience for the viewer—endlessly evolving and open to interpretation. Creative coding will always remain central to our design practice, fueling our ongoing exploration of new mediums and expressions.
