Commemorative Book: The Irish Memorial

This is the Commemorative book we created  for the Irish Memorial park.

The Irish Memorial Park

Commemorative Book

The Irish Memorial, situated adjacent the Delaware river in downtown Philadelphia, is a national monument commemorating Ireland’s terrible “starvation” tragedy of the 19th century. It marked the deaths of over 3 million people and the immigration of up to 4 million more.

We worked alongside an extensive team to help create this historic park. Our responsibility was to create the identity for the park, the environmental graphics for the park, the commemorative book and the accompanying website.

The commemorative book was created for the dedication of The Irish Memorial Park. It includes the history of the park and graphics from the eight information stations within the park that recount the history of Ireland’s ‘Great Hunger’.
